How to Add a "Story" Widget (Instagram-Style Circles)
The "Story" widget displays your videos as circular bubbles (usually at the top of your page), looking exactly like Instagram Stories. This is perfect for the top of your Home Page to greet new visitors.
Step 1: Create a "Story" Journey
Go to the ReelTok Dashboard.
Click the Create Journey button.
When asked for the "Type," select Story (instead of Carousel or Floating Reel).
Give it a name (e.g., "Home Page Stories") and click Create.
Step 2: Add Your Content
Upload your videos as normal.
Tip: Since these are "Stories," short, punchy updates (like "New Drop", "Sale Info", "Behind the Scenes") work best here.
Tag your products if applicable.
Step 3: Place it in Your Store
Go to your Shopify Theme Editor (Customize).
Add the ReelTok Widget block.
Crucial Step: Place this block at the very top of your page (under the Header), as this is where users expect to see Story circles.
Paste the Journey ID from your new Story journey.
Difference from Carousel
Carousel: Rectangular cards, usually placed mid-page or on product pages.
Story: Circular icons with a colored ring (indicating "new" content). When clicked, they expand to full screen.
