Data Retention Policy

Yes. Uninstalling the ReelTok app from your Shopify store will result in the permanent deletion of your data.

If you reinstall the app later, you will start with a completely fresh account. Your previous work cannot be recovered.

When the app is removed, the following data is wiped from our system:

• All Video Files: Any videos you uploaded directly to the app.

• Journeys & Scenes: All your created Stories, Carousels, and Floating Widgets.

• Product Tags: The links between your videos and Shopify products.

• Custom Settings: Your branding colors, translations, and display configurations.

If you are experiencing a bug or issue (e.g., the widget isn't showing up), please do not uninstall the app as a troubleshooting step.

Uninstalling will not "reset" the app without deleting your data. Instead, please contact our Support Team first so we can help you resolve the issue while keeping your hard work safe.
