GemPages Integration

If you are using GemPages to build your landing pages, you will need to use a "Custom Code" element to display your video widgets instead of the standard Shopify App Block.

Step 1: Get Your Embed Code

First, you need to grab the special script specifically designed for page builders.

1. Open the ReelTok dashboard and click on the Journey you want to embed (e.g., "Carousel") to open its settings.

2. Click on the Publish tab at the top of the page.

3. Switch the toggle from "Regular" to Advanced / Page Builder.

4. Click the Script button to copy the embed code to your clipboard.

Now, go to your GemPages editor to place the widget.

1. Open your page in the GemPages Editor.

2. Click the Plus (+) icon in the left sidebar to open the element library.

3. In the search bar, type "Code" and find the Custom Code element.

4. Drag and drop the Custom Code element onto your page exactly where you want the video widget to appear.

Finally, paste the ReelTok script inside the code editor.

1. Click on the Custom Code element you just added to select it.

2. In the settings panel on the left, click the Add button under the "Code" section.

3. A popup window will appear. Ensure the HTML/Liquid tab is selected at the top.

4. Paste the script code you copied in Step 1 into the black code box.

5. Click Save inside the popup window.

6. Finally, click the main Save button in the top right corner of the editor to publish your changes.

Result: The widget will now load on your live GemPages page. Note: The video may not play inside the editor preview. Always click "Preview" or view the live page to verify it is working correctly.
